All day today the only thing that would cross my mind was this solitary word, fear. For so many different reasons do we experience fear in one momental way or another. Fear holds us back, fear keeps us from telling the truth, fear compels us to lie, to hate, to love someone. Fear is what can chain us down or support our dreams. Fear isn't what holds us back its our inability to do something.
Hands shaking, we twist our wrists in a nervous manner as anticipation creeps ever quickly into us. Waiting seems to go on forever as a form of torture. Surely we got this far whats keeping us back? What will my friends think? Will I hit every note? Have I memorized all my lines? What was that equation again? Would that cute guy notice me or turn away? Will I make my parents proud?
None of this even matters. I am who I am and why should I be afraid of myself? Just because I don't fit in the social circle you have? If we were all so diabolically similar to each other I'd hate the world in black and white technicolor.
Fear is a joke and I dare it to ruin me.

I suck at consoling others over the internet, but I love how you are able to go there. To say everything you feel, break down the barriers, and t let all the chaos come flooding out. I admire that strength you posses.
