Year Of Change

How long, oh how long, will it take us to fall back on our words this year? How long will it take us to fall, so easily, back into the patterns of last year? We always promise ourselves that this year will be different, that this year will not be the same as last year nor worse than what it could have been. And yet we find ourselves after months, days, or even hours, seeing the same four walls we promised we'd leave behind once and for all. We are human and we will always fall back into the routine we made normal.

Fast food three days a week? Check. Staying up 'til three am? Check. A very un-optimistic view of life again? Double Check. Spending money we definitely don't have? Triple check and down the toilet.

Life certainly has a cycle. Its a hard one but this post isn't about falling back into the same old same old. It's about going out to seize the day. I promise this to myself, I will not be the same person I was in 2010. 2011 is the Year of Change and change it shall be.

2011 is the year I start the road to follow my dreams. I've already begun the yellow brick road to that daydream of cloud 9. So now I'm going to get ready to seize the day.
