Annnnnd... We're Live!

Today I went on the air for the first time in my life. Real life on-air radio. I was terrified. Never did anything in my life seem so pivotal until those few seconds before I hit the air. I rushed the words coming from my mouth so quickly that I don't think anyone heard me. If they did they may have heard the scared child in my voice. I just need to learn that just like in the production room alone is how the on-air performance should sound like.

Radio is not as scary and mind boggling as we'd all like to think. In the few short weeks I've been at college trying to understand my major, I've learned this: play it cool no matter the situation, no matter how nervous you are its a simple step by step process that can be fixed, and always have fun. Radio isn't that hard to have fun with. I'm loving it already I just need to learn to relax and not become a nervous mess.

I'm learning so much and having a blast! I hope that this day is a day we'll be learning from and having each day...theres more to be updated later. Mwuah!
